Did you know that there is an International Penguin Conference?
No, I’m not kidding, it’s a really event and it is happening in Boston. This conference is being hosted by the New England Aquarium and there will be goverment officials, zoo officials, conservation advocates, and even 180 penguin biologists. These people will be coming from 22 nations…all for the love of penguins.
What will be main topic of this penguin conference? They will be discussing why 10 of the planets 18 species of penguins are declining.

Is not an article that only a biologist would understand. It is talking in “regular” language (that even I could understand) about a whole variety of issues the penguins face.
It seems penguins are one of the animals that I do not hear about often. Normally people start talking penguins when it is near Christmas and they are looking for stuffed penguins because they are featured on every special. So, I am glad that these these wonderful animals are the talk of their own conference. A world without these critters would not be good. I mean they are the best dressed wildlife I have ever seen.
