If you live in the Jefferson County Missouri area and are looking for a new furry family member then I suggest you check out the pages I found today while searching animal news.
The Facebook page is Shelter Buddies of Missouri. They are posting pictures of animals that have come into local shelters and need to find their home or even a new home. Some of these pets may have just gotten lost and are desperate to find their families. Other animals there may just not have any home to go back to so they are available for adoption.
I actually found the Facebook page after seeing the groups pictures posted on Flickr. They have so many cute critters at Shelter Buddies of Missouri Flickr Group.
They have a dog or cat in every size, shape, and color you could imagine. Teeny tiny kittens to pretty big dogs. I bet you will find the perfect animal. Remember that if you go to the shelter, and do not find the “furry friend” of your dreams on the 1st visit. Just wait a few days and go back. Maybe the critter that is a perfect match for you just hasn’t shown up at the shelter yet. Just don’t give up….shelters are full and new animals come in everyday.
