With over 230 rhinos already killed this year in South Africa, National parks, farms, and police are asking for the military to help.
Rhino’s are being brutally killed by poachers for their horns and other part to be sold as medicinal or healing cures. We all know that there are no medicinal properties in the rhino horn but, some people are left in the way back “believe all BS” time machine. The people that believe this stuff are not going to change and there is big money to be made from poaching and selling the animal parts. So the only hope of saving the rhino is to put the fear of God (or gunshot) into the poachers. But, these poachers are not so easily scared.
The poachers threatening the rhinos are not like everyday hunters. These people are more like high powered, fully equipped, fine tuned organization. They have much better equipment than the rangers or police. They may also have some government connections that they are secretly getting help from. I don’t think the poachers have enough morals that they would be above killing people to get whet they want.

Lets hope the military can step in and even up the numbers a bit. I bet the military can also out equip them.
