Today in animal news I found a story that doesn’t really seem that odd but, I’m glad wasn’t there to experience it.
At the Commonwealth Games held in south Delhi it seems that wild animals are coming into the stadium. That would not be so bad if the animal was not dangerous. But, they happened to have a 4 foot long adult cobra make it into the athletes area.
Hello, a cobra could hide anywhere and not be happy if you stepped on it, uncovered it from its hiding place, or it just didn’t like you because it was in a bad mood. But, I guess if you are in South Africa then you might expect to see some animals that, we in the USA would not be accustomed to. I’m just glad that they have people specialty trained to handle very scary snakes like a cobra.

PS. I am not a snake fan so, this is why it would freak me out so much. I’m sure many people would know good practices to help keep themselves safe if they were faced with a 4 foot cobra.
