For some reason cows are showing a power of the wills when it comes to visiting the Ohio State’s Veterinary Hospital.

Twice this month cows have escaped while traveling to the hospital.

The 1st time was April 8, 2010. A pregnant cow was being taken in so she could be helped during delivery. Her trailer door came unlatched and she took a little stroll down I-70. She was put back in to her “limo”, went to the hospital, and had an 80 pound bouncing baby calf (girl).

The 2nd great cow escape (April 21, 2010) was a bit more exciting. These 2 cows were not near as eager to be caught.
They were going to the hospital to get a cow manicure (also known a hoof trim). When they got to the school and their owner started to get them out…they rushed him. Knocking him down and running!
After more than an hour they finally tranquilized the cows and lead them back to their trailer. At least 1 police car did get damaged as a cow charged it.

I bet the cow was yelling “Take that moo coppers”. Ok, maybe not.

Who let the cows out?! MOL!
