Today at Discovery News you can learn how forensic DNA was used to identify a wolf serial killer suspect. It is the first time that DNA has helped to reveal a possible wolf killer. The suspect, a man living in the Liguria region of Italy, is still on trial there. Killing wolves is a crime in Italy, due to the canine’s population decline over the years, so the suspect poacher is facing either a prison sentence or a fine if convicted.

This guy could be a poster for Stupid Criminals. Yet, I am glad he was so arrogant that he felt the need for a trophy necklace. That is what got him busted. Guess he assumed that no one cared enough to DNA test the teeth he so proudly killed for.
