Today I ran across a site that has over 1000 dogs up for adoption. They are from all over the world. You can see perfect dogs from over 200 rescue shelters.
You can find dogs from just about every breed there is. They give great details about each dog. Some dogs are good with kids & other animals while others may be better for an older couple with no other pets. Most dogs seem to also have a bit of their background listed. I am sure some of these animals were stray or dropped off & have no way of passing along their history. Yet, most shelters are really good about judging a dogs personality. They normally put the dog through “test” to make sure the home he finds will be the perfect fit.
