How cool would it be to have a troop of gorillas visit your camp? No not a camp somewhere like the Grand Canyon. You would have to be somewhere like Uganda.
Yes, you just wake up one more walk out and there are gorillas just hanging around. Not a circus or zoo setting, but just out in the wild.
Just watch this video of the gorillas making themselves at home wandering the camp and even getting up close and personal to the humans.
When I saw the first part of the footage I figure they had a really good Zoom lens…then I see that they didn’t need a zoom lens as these gorillas came right up to them. I don’t know about you, but I would have pooped my pants if they were that close.
Watch at about the 3min mark when the baby gorilla goes up to a man named John and touches him, and then the HUGE silverback gorilla kind of leads the baby away. But, poor John is now stuck as the entire family just sits down behind him. The little ones are still very curious about the new creature they have encountered. “Got any fleas John?”
