We have a voluntary recall of some dog treats so please read the specific lot numbers, check your dog treats, and please tell your friends and family to do the same.
The Hartz Mountain Corporation is voluntarily recalling one specific lot of Hartz Naturals Real Beef Treats for Dogs due to concerns that one or more bags within the lot may have been potentially contaminated with Salmonella. They are cooperating with the FDA for this voluntary recall.
You can find the entire press release and contact info at Hartz recalls Naturals® beef treats.
At this point this is not a forced FDA recall the corporation is doing it as a safety precaution.
