I’m sure you have all heard of a Tweet Up where people that may know each other on Twitter all plan to meet at an event. Sounds fun but, what happens when so many of the people at the event have dogs and you find out that everyone wishes they could have brought their pup to meet friends?
Only one thing to do…Have a Doggy Tweet Up or in this case it was Yappy Hour.
It was all set up by Vegas Rock Dog . The event was held on the dog friendly patio of Espresso Culture & Cuisine. They offered the humans drink specials and great service.
The dogs were treated to fresh made “cookies” and Yappy-Tizers. Trust me when I say that all the dogs enjoyed their snacks.
All of the dogs were super well behaved. They weren’t yappy at all….except for 2 of the dogs (Yes, I’m talking about you Pete and Thornton. BOL!).
The local weather guy (Tedd Florendo) from Las Vegas 8 News Now was there with his beautiful dog Bruner. I am glad he ordered us such great weather…no wind, not hot, not cold, and no worries of rain. If the weather had been nasty, I bet he would have been hiding.
LOL! Sorry the video is a mix of still pictures and video…we had some problems with the cam and salvaged what we could.
Now, take a look at the video and just try to guess which dogs were my favorite…I’ll even give you a hint…they have 4 paws and fur.
Yappy Hour Las Vegas August 28, 2010! Video Description
Vegas Rock Dog teamed up with Espresso Culture & Cuisine to put on a wonderful “Tweet Up” also known as Yappy Hour.
Of course the Anipal Info crew had to go see the fuzzbutts and we wanted to share those loveable pups with you.
There were dogs of all sizes, shapes, and colors that brought their humans out for a night of fun. Throughout the evening dogs stopped by the Cafes Pet Friendly Patio for a few hiney sniffs and Yappy-Tizers!
This event also had a raffle with AWESOME prizes donated by local business. The raffle money went to benefit the Hot Diggity Dog Daschund Club and Rescue.
