I’m really glad that animals in the wild don’t read online. If they did, it could be a real ego dent for Leopards. We are finding that those big cats are not the big, teeth gnashing, sharp clawed, killing experts that we might have thought.
Not long ago I posted about a Leopard that let a Mouse Eat her Meat. Yes, it was to cute to see that big old cat let a little bitty mouse eat lunch. The mouse was not afraid.
Today we have an article about a 2 year old male leopard that really wanted to eat it’s “friend” in the photo. To bad a porcupine is not really an easy lunch. The pictures in the story Young leopard gets a prickly reception as it tries to eat a porcupine are kind of funny. The porcupine just seems to mosey along while the young cat does everything it can think of to turn his prickly prey into a meal.
I wonder if that cat will remember his experience and avoid the next porcupine he sees. Those quills have to leave an impression.
If the other animals could read these stories & see the pictures, they would surely tease the leopards. ;)
