Here we go again with this breaking news story.
MILLIONS of dead fish are covering the surface and possibly 12+ inches under water on the bottom around Renondo Beach and King Harbor. The report says they are mostly sardines and a few anchovies and mackerel.
I did find video about the issue that was just put up by KTLA. It is really wild to think of that many fish just dieing. Although the reporter says it is a natural occurrence…it is still very weird to me.
As you will see in the video, they are shoveling the dead animals into a backhoe bucket. One of the officers did say he felt that the group of fish just ran out of oxygen in the area.
