The people living in the area of Nashville, Tennessee have had terrible flooding this past week. Any time something like this happens there are bound to be pets that have gotten lost in the mix.
Many people are desperate to find out if their cat, dog, or even large pet is ok. Their animals are part of their family and we all want families to stay together in a time like this.
There is a Facebook group that has formed so people who have found pets can post a picture in hopes of the owner seeing it. I’m sure if you have lost an animal and have a picture you can also post it so, others can be on look out for them.
So if you live anywhere near the Nashville Flood area and have a lost or found pet, please go to Nashville Flood Rescued Pets Page. Even people that do not have a Facebook account can still see the page and the pictures. If you want to post a picture you will need a Facebook account, it is free to join.
The Creator of the Nashville Pet Rescue group has posted this message on the page to help everyone -

Local shelters are welcome to use the photos section and post pics of animals that have recently been separated from their owners. Please post as much information about the pet as possible and leave some contact information such as email address so that the owner may contact you regarding the pet. Thanks!
Remember that in an emergency pets are normally scared and confused and may end up a good distance from home. So, even if you live a bit outside the flooding area, you may still see one of these lost animals near you. Please take the time to post a picture and information about the pet you have found.
When all else is gone, family is what will get you through. Even a furry family! :-)
