Nebraska wants to pass a law that will deregulate the puppy mill inspections. The new law could put inspections back to being only driven by complaints. That could mean, if no one complains then the puppy mills are not checked on.

The Humane society has sent a letter in hopes that more people will contact members of the Agricultural Committee.

I personally think that any breeding program that puts out animals to sell should have strict guidelines for the safety of the animals and the safety of the families that may bring them into their home.
