A truly amazing place, the Olympic Game Farm has been open for over 40 years it started out as an animal rescue. For more than 28 years the farm worked with Walt Disney Studios and others on projects such as The Grizzly Adams Series, The Incredible Journey, Charlie the Lonesome Cougar, Beachcombers and many others. They have hundreds of animals including 20 species, some exotic animals such as zebra, white rhinoceros, fallow deer, Bengal tiger, African lion, Canadian lynx, wolves, black bear, brown bear and many others. The bison and elk are a favorite of mine.
They have a drive through tour that I would not suggest to take my Rolls Royce through unless you want slobber all over it, but the tour does get you about as close as you will ever get to some of these animals in a life time. It’s quite a rush!
They have other little tours a great studio barn, gift shop, and snack bar. For a private animal sanctuary the Olympic Game Farm has amazing owners that go over and above to love and care for their animals. I will stick my neck out and say this is probably pretty close to a one of a kind piece of this planet of ours.
If you are ever out on the peninsula of Washington plan a stop in Sequim to see the Olympic Game Farm.
