Are your dogs on Twitter?
If they aren’t then how does the world know what they are doing. I mean their have to be dogs all over the world that would like updates on their canine friends.
Shoot, it seems like everyone else tweets so maybe you should get your dog into social networking also.
*a little off topic* During the tsunami watch in Hawaii, I saw they had a buoy that tweets out wave height every 1/2 hour. A dog tweeting would have to be more exciting.
Anyhow, Mattel has come out with a special sound/motion sensor that attaches to your dogs collar. It has 500 canned messages that it will tweet out through your dogs Twitter account.
They do caution that it is a toy and that the messages sent may not be truly what your dog is trying to say. (Glad they clarified that or Dr. Doolittle might be mad ;)
You can see the full article I found about Mattel’s Puppy Tweets.
If that sounds a bit boring…I know for a fact that their are thousands of critters that tweet. Ok, so maybe all these cats, dogs, hamsters…are not really typing on the keyboard but, likely have an owner interpreting what the animals are thinking and doing the updates.
Many of these anipals send out some great pictures, silly sayings that we all know cats and dogs are thinking, and some even have more Twitter Followers than most people.
I did find a pretty good size list list of Dogs That Twitter. They are not dogs wearing the special Puppy Tweets toy…these are dogs that have allot to say.
They are a tight group and many of them only follow back other critters. So, if you don’t speak animal…they may not follow you back.
Poor Mattel has no idea that they are competing with “real animal” Tweets. LOL!
