Animal Planet host Donald Schultz inside box with 100 snakes at O’Sheas in Las Vegas!

Yes, 100 snakes & 1 crazy guy (Donald Schultz of Wild Recon) will live in a “house” (a 16′x20′ glass enclosure) for 10 days outside of O’Sheas Casinio on the Las Vegas Strip.

This event will start Jan.17 with 50 snakes many of the venomous kind (pythons, cobras, & rattlers). He will not only be spending 24/7 with them…he will be extracting venom from them.

Schultz is doing this to raise awareness about the need for antivenom. The event will be filmed for an upcoming (Feb.9) show on Animal Planet called “Venom in Vegas”.

Vegas is known for taking bets, I wonder how many people will bet on if he can make it the full 10 days? Hmmm, which side would you put your money on?

I did ask O’Sheas if the public would be able to stop by & see the House of Snakes & they said YES! The event is outside of the casino & will likely draw a crowd. I think it would be great to go see if we can get some pictures to share with you. The only problem is….I am terrified of snakes. Not just a little afraid….no, I vomit, pass out, & could have heart failure just seeing pictures of snakes. Maybe I will send someone down there, I can sit & have a drink FAR FAR away.

  1. Thanx for the cam link. I saw they had a film crew in the box with him. They must be making scenes for the show. Donald was reaching in a tree & pulling out a snake to show the camera.
I could see people standing outside the box watching & people just walking down the street.
