If you had been a guest at Sea World Orlando today you may have had a change in heart about having whales in Theme Park shows.

It seems Tillikum, one of the whales preforming in the Shamu Stadium, has killed an employee. This same whale was responsible for killing at least 1 other person possibly 2.

It is a case of should wild animals be used in shows such as this, even if it does help bring awareness & educates the public?

Is the possibility of being killed just something that one might expect when having a job with wild animals?

Could it just be that this particular whale is just not adaptable to the situation he has found himself in? I mean killer whales were not born to do tricks in a pool.

I found this video from a news station reporting on the death of 40 year old Dawn Brancheau. She is said to be one of the most experienced trainers at Sea World.

The good news is that Sea World says they have no intentions of putting the whale down.
