Oh yeah, a snake story.
A writer for the Washington Post wrote a piece saying how people should love and cherish the snakes they see in their garden and yards. You know they eat bugs and rodents? Yes, I knew they ate those sweet lil chipmunks, mice, and other friendly creatures. As for the bugs…oh well whatever. LOL!

I am not a snake fan. In fact I once called the farm bureau and ask them how to get rid of snakes in my yard and they gave me the same story as the guy who wrote  Don’t fear snakes; appreciate their role in the garden. My answer was that I can handle mice, moles, rats…so the snakes are not really helping me out. They then told me that the snakes in my yard were just harmless garter snakes…Ummm, wrong those snakes are NOT harmless. I see them lil critter slithering across my yard and I stop breathing, my chest hurts, and even sleeping is hard because I am afraid they are in my house. Yes, I get physically ill.

So what’s the moral of this post?  Teach your kids to appreciate snakes…they do have good points. They can be helpful.
