Someday’s I get a link to a story sent to me and I just don’t know what to do with it. Maybe it is not a huge event or maybe I figure it doesn’t totally apply so, I just sit it to the side and wait. I did just that today. I got 1 headline in and just let it sit, then another came in, then another…they can all be connected to get the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Animals Involving 2 Presidents and a Queen. Bonus to have all this royalty in 1 day. Thanks to all the people on Twitter, Facebook, and the contact page for sending me animal stories they find interesting!

Let’s start with the Good!
According to Digital Journal Bill Clinton named PETA’s person of the year! Yes, the PETA site also list Bill as Person of the Year but they didn’t have the video of the President talking about why he has gone mostly Vegan. Promoting the Vegan lifestyle is why he got the PETA man of the year award to begin with. So you can visit the above link and read what PETA had to say & see Mr. Clinton talk about cutting out animal products from his diet  & how it could save his life (or at least extend it). So from us at Anipal Info…Congratulations Mr. Pres! Every person that cuts out any meat or dairy is doing themselves and animals good!

Now we go to the Bad! As in Bad Newz Kennels!
Yes, we are back in a discussion about Michael Vick only this time we have another big name as the one who brought Vick into it….President Obama. It’s reported that Obama called the owner of the Philadelphia Eagles to talk about 2 things. 1 being that the Eagles will be using alternative energy (yeah). The 2nd thing he talked to the Eagles owner about was hiring Micheal Vick and giving him a second chance. Wow, there are several articles about this so, the one with the most comments is on Yahoo Sports Obama calls Eagles owner to congratulate him for signing Vick. My personal thought is that if Obama wanted to thank people for hiring ex cons, maybe he could have found someone that hired a kid that made a mistake. NOT a grown man that was killing and torturing animals for fun and money.
If Obama really said that he was doing this to show that other cons can get out and make something of themselves then he is not thinking straight. VERY few criminals get out of prison and get a job making millions unless they are an athlete, political figure, music or movie star.
Obama also took a long time to congratulate the owner for giving Vick a chance. Does he think people have forgiven or forgotten?

Ok, enough about Obama & Vick.

Now we have The Ugly!
Someone please tell Queen Elizabeth II & the Duchess of Cornwall that those fur hats they wore to church on Christmas are UGLY! Ladies, fur only looks good on the animal that it naturally comes on. Stop shaving your legs if you want to be furry.
Ok, I did not include the Duchess in the title because it just ruined the sound of it, but she is just as ugly wearing fur. In the article Queen Elizabeth under fire for wearing fur hat, they said that the fur may be “vintage fur” that is just being reused for the hats.
Whatever, it is still looked at as wearing and being “fashionable” wearing dead animals. Fur farming is banned in Britain yet these 2 ladies are wearing fur. Great example girls.

So there you have it a little Good, Bad, and Ugly from some of the most powerful (influential) people in their countries!
