We at Anipal Info would like to say -
Rest in Peace Tony Curtis, thank you for all you have done to entertain families and all you have done for the Shiloh Horse Rescue.
We saw Tony in April of this year when he was out at the Petapalooza event in Las Vegas, NV. He was autographing the Painted Pony Statues to help raise funds for the Shiloh Horse Rescue (located in the Las Vegas Area).
When I saw him there I was in Awe, he was one of the greats in many movies I watched growing up.
It was a very warm day and he was sitting out under a tent at the Petapalozza event while other volunteers were answering questions and helping kids pet the horses they had brought from the rescue. Tony had started doing art when he was older and had said he loved doing it more than acting.
He and his wife Jill own and operate the rescue that has been taking in abandoned or abused horses since 2003. They have saved more than 400 horses that have gotten to live out their lives not in abuse but in a sanctuary or home where they are loved and given all they need.
We send Jill and the family many healing thoughts. We hope everyone continues to help and support the horse rescue.
