Do you love to watch live wild animal cams?
Of course you do…everyone seems to get sucked right in. At least I always plan on going over for just 5 minutes and end up there for much longer.
A great site to see a variety of animal cams is Wild Earth TV.
There you can choose from cams that feature Falcons, Eagles, and Loons…They also have a live cam to watch for wildlife in Southwestern Pennslyvania. There you have a chance to see Cute lil squirrels, chipmunks, foxes, white tailed deer and more.
If you are looking for something a bit more exotic then check out the Safari Channel. Today I watched zebras. If you’re lucky you may get to see a snuggly warthog. Other animals to watch for are Elephants, hippos, weldebeest, all kinds of birds, cheetah, monkeys, and more. I have yet to see a giraffe but, I have read other people have spotted them.
Here is the Safari Cam…If you want to checkout other cams just go to Wild Earth TV. Just be sure to remember that they are live cams and are in different time zones so, you may not see much action on some of them in the dark.
Leave us a comment and tell us what animals you saw.
oooooo, I was watching & at first it was just some zebras eating & then they started spinning the camera over to a pond. I thought there was a duck but when they zoomed in it was a hippo & not just 1 but it looked like a whole family of them. They would go down and then blow bubbles & then pop up. They were making a real bunch of splashing. When they yawn their mouths are giant. Thanks for posting this. You’re right I can’t leave because there might be something else come by.
Hello Ash, Zebra’s seem to be around a lot. The hippos are really neat to see if they are doing more than just laying in the water.
I had been to busy & then jumped over tonight cause I couldn’t sleep & they were out driving around & they found a leopard. She was just walking around. They said she was looking for food so they didn’t follower long so she could hunt.
I hadn’t seen them a tour before so that was cool.
They are out looking for elephants now but I am going to look at my pillow.
Haha I saw a warthog that looked like my old teacher.
When I got on they had a dude in a truck driving round telling us what animals are on. Last time there wasn’t a guy driving it was just a camera sitting still. The guy has a accent & is hard to understand.
I saw
zebra & baby z’s
impalas
deer looking things with big ears
1 hippo that was just chillin in the lake
I have to go & they said there was leopard there & they saw tracks. Maybe I will see it sometime. I love the big cats. Please, please, please let me know if you see it.
Hello Jennie, I’m glad that I was never a teacher otherwise I would be wondering if you were talking about me in the mornings. ;-)
They do have a game that they play where they take you on a guided tour. I have never played and sent in the animal names. I have “went along for the ride”. Some of the guides are harder to understand than others, it just depends on how strong their accent is.
I saw in some notes that people saw 2 big cats yesterday. I wasn’t one of the lucky ones to see them. I just see the regular animals most times.
