Seems like sharks are not only a big topic on Discovery Channels Shark Week.
Sharks are making the headlines in stories like Great Whites Close Some Massachusetts Beaches. I know, Mass. never seemed like a big shark hang out but, they sure are laying claim to the oceans there.
But, with all these coll shark facts coming to surface…Maybe you are wanting to take a trip and hang out with some of these magnificent animals. In my opinion, I don’t think it would be a good idea to just go out with some buddies and jump into some chum filled water. I would suggest that you plan a trip and go with some real shark experts that also come prepared with some safety precautions…unless you just want to make the news as a missing swimmer.
ABC News put out a list of 10 Great Places to Swim With Sharks. They have places to visit such as Australia, South Africa, Galapagos Islands if you are going worldwide. If you want to stay here in the United States to go swimming with sharks, they have locations in California and North Carolina. And no, they did not even mention going to the Cape shark hunting.
I personally don’t know if I have the guts to go swimming with big sharks. I know in Florida there were often small sharks swimming with us in the ocean but, we never heard of them hurting anyone.
The only shark I will be messing with is a Stuffed Great White Shark Puppet. Go ahead and call me a wimp…I like sharks that don’t really take bites out of people.
