White deer are certainly a rare site but, it seems that they are found in different areas of the world.
Today I read a post that features a picture of 2 White Sika Deer together. The photo’s were taken in the UK by Jane Adams. The article ‘Real treat’ as two rare white sika deer are pictured together for the first time clearly states that seeing 2 of these white deer together is a very rare occurrence.
Now, if you go over to the PBS site they have a 6 minute video with footage of white deer in the USA (Boulder Junction, Colorado & Wisconsin) . In the White Deer video you will see 3 of these beautiful animals together. One picture seems to be a mother and fawns that are all white. You will also hear that these deer are truly albino with pink noses & ears. Their eyes are not always pink, they can also be light colored. This is a great chance to learn a little bit about these mystical creatures.
