Today’s search for animals in the news brought up a good story. Only problem is that we will never know a huge missing piece about what happened.

This story is about a black cat. No, not a black cat that will give you bad luck if it crosses your path. No, I don’t think it belonged to a witch either. Come to think about it…there is a bit of good luck and maybe a little magic involved here too.

A little cat named Jack Daniels and his brother Jim Beam were living at the San Francisco SPCA. You see jack was blind and his brother Jim was his “guide cat” so the SPCA needed to make sure the 2 cats stayed together. That could have made finding an adopting family a bit harder but, it never came to that point. No family had the chance to adopt the pair.

Jack disappeared. Yes just a Poof and he was gone. No clues as to where he went. Workers, police, and volunteers looked high and low but he vanished without a trace. No hide nor hair of Jacks where abouts could be found (sure there was probably hair but, all black cat hair looks the same).  People had to be worried about a blind cat on his own.

Since they couldn’t find Jack the SPCA went ahead and adopted out his brother Jim. I’m sure they gave up on ever finding Jack, so Jim was no longer needed as a guide cat and could go to any family.

Wait..there’s more. Jack was found and not where you would ever expect.
To see where Jack was, check out Blind cat, reported missing from San Francisco shelter, found alive and well in…

Go read the story and come back here to post your theories on how Jack ended up there. I just wish Jack the cat could tell us where he was and how he got there.

My theory is Flying Monkeys. Those monkeys have always been up to no good and they should take the blame for this. Yeah, guess all the talk about the 71st anniversary of the Wizard of Oz has given me flash backs of those creepy things.
