Many animal rights activist and animal lovers in general have been fighting to stop testing on animals.
Today I was watching for animal news and came across an article that shows how some institutions are ignoring the laws already in place to protect animals.
9 Staff members of the University of Wisconsin Madison are facing fines and possibly jail time for testing on sheep.
The test were for the US Navy and dealt with decompression sickness.
Apparently there is a law in Wisconsin that bans killing animals through decompression.

I think the University is breaking the law and should be held accountable. Laws are not made just so some people have to follow them. I also question why the University would do such experiments if they knew the law?
I bet the US Navy could find a million other places outside of Wisconsin that will do the testing. Not that I even see the reason to use sheep and pretend that what happens to them would come close to what would happen to people under the same circumstances.
