It seems that putting an animal on the endangered list doesn’t mean anything. Apparently wolves on the Endangered Species List are possibly going to get the death penalty because some judges don’t ….oh, I won’t say those non family friendly words.
Wolves in many areas have just started to make a comeback but, that may not last. Farmers are loosing animals and they are putting the blame on wolves. This is leading people to want to do the unthinkable and start killing them off AGAIN.
In the article Endangered or not, wolf killings set to expand it states – At least 1,700 wolves now roam Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. There are
more than 4,000 in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. New populations
are taking hold in Oregon and Washington, and wolves have been sighted
in Colorado, Utah and New England.
Wow, all of 5,700 wolves, that is a huge number & I can see why they would want to hunt them, shoot them from planes, or gas pups in their den. *Insert a not so nice sarcastic tone*
People keep encroaching on wildlife and then they wonder why the wildlife comes into “humans areas”. People also start killing off 1 type of animal that has it’s place in the food chain and then wonder why another part of the food chain starts over population. If people could understand the way life is balanced between species then some of the problems would be solved.
What do you think about allowing states to start hunting and killing off the wolves again?
